FIRST Robotics Competition is an intense competitive outlet for high school students. Every year FIRST releases a unique game challenge. Over the course of just six weeks, teams work to design, build, and program a robot to play the game. FRC allows students to gain hands on engineering experience alongside industry professionals and encourages them to pursue STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers by inspiring innovation and cultivating life skills. Through FIRST Robotics Competition students have the chance to learn about engineering and programming from experienced mentors, as well as learn business skills, and develop talent in media and writing. FRC helps to create well rounded individuals by developing self confidence, communication, and leadership capabilities while inspiring them to be science and technology leaders.
